Unjustly imprisoned

Many people have learned that blogging, although beneficial to society, can also be very controversial.  A couple of weeks ago, a Tunisian rapper named Hamada Ben-Amor was arresested because of a video of his song he put on his blog called "President, Your People Are Dying."

The Tunisian government is known for cracking down on controversial blogging, but there reaches a limit and the government surpassed that line this time.

Many people may think the Tunisian government is probably under a communist or dictatorship ruling, but to the suprise of many and yours truly, it's actually under a Republic rule.  That means that the citizens have many rights and should be able to post their thoughts freely.  Many citizens of Tunisia have expressed their anger with the way the government handled the situation and made their thoughts known.

Ben-Amor has since been released from prison but a sense of frustration and anger still remains towards the government from the citizens of Tunisia.

  1. You need to include a link to this information. I'll show you how Monday. Good job of updating the status of Ben-Amor, stating he's been released.
